My Nursing Story

One of the most amazing things about being a nurse is all the different directions you can explore.  I’ve worked in Med-Surge/Telemetry, long term care, telehealth triage, wound care, and a few others in between.  I’m now a Wound Care Certified nurse, so you’ll find a lot of content focused on this rewarding specialty.

I hope this blog can be a straight-forward, valuable tool for anyone interested in peeking into the world of wound care nursing.  My goal is to encourage both nurses and nursing students to make the most of their clinical experiences, take advantage of the unlimited options, and find an area of nursing that excites and inspires!
